AIRLINE TRAVEL & AIRPORTS: Guam to Los Angeles via Honolulu
By admin ~ October 6th, 2008. Filed under: Honolulu Travel.
As requested by August celebrant Poul93, and the rest of my travel vid subscribers…
This is a modified version of my Airline Travel & Airports videos, as it only has about 3 minutes worth of airport clips, and the rest are road travels around California.
This flight from Manila to Los Angeles was on Continental Airlines which has the route of Manila-Guam-Honolulu-Los Angeles. If you don’t mind the stopovers, CO’s a good island hopper flight!
This vid features:
-Landing at Agana, Guam
-Honolulu Airport
-Arrival area of LAX Airport
-Some road travel by van
-Union Train Station
-Travel by rail via Amtrak
More travel vids to come, and they’re mostly transpacific. Westbound!

Tagal na yan. …
Tagal na yan. Outdated na, haha!
Better go to Amtrak’s website to check for any updates and routes/stations para may idea ka coz I’m not that familiar with the line. But yes, it’s better than driving. Just bring your own food coz it’s expensive on board.
I have vids of SJ Capistrano but then it’s not proper under the theme Airline Travel, haha!
I’m uploading part 1 of my Tokyo-Chicago-New York vid within the hour.

Eto talaga route ng …
Eto talaga route ng Continental if you’re traveling from Manila to Los Angeles or Houston. The route goes from Manila, then Guam which is the US port of entry where you need to pass thru immigration, then Honolulu where you submit your customs papers, then from Honolulu, you’re off to Los Angeles or other US cities which is considered na as a domestic flight. The catch- nakakapagod at maraming stops, pero mas mura.

My parents are …
My parents are divorced and my mom is married to an American. Most of my siblings are in the US with my mom and step dad. I decided to take a step back and go home to finish nursing coz nursing school there is quite expensive.
I always take window seats and usually sit at the back of the plane. Kaso pag nasi-CR ka, you need to wake up yung mga katabi mo, haha!
Presko sa Hawaii!

I think mas mura, …
I think mas mura, and the thing there is, if incidents such as refunds happen, mas madali ayusin sa RP rather than calling up the agency sa US. So I think it’s better you buy it here. Mas makaka save ka rin if you buy way in advance. Compare mo PAL and Cebu Pacific coz Cebu Pacific may seem cheaper but what you pay is what you get- no meals, no inflight entertainment.
Thanks for watching!

Um, I can still …
Um, I can still appreciate it even if it was luncheon meat but no, they served beef and pasta on foil, accompanied by the undying bread roll served on most coach class meals.
I’d still go for food served on Asian carriers.

uy, tanong naman oh - so i’m planning to go home sometime around jan-feb of next year and i’m also planning to visit the neighboring countries while i’m in phil. the question is, mas mura ba ang plane tickets (ie. going to beijing or tokyo or singapore) kung jan sa pinas ko bibilin?
October 6th, 2008 at 2:42 pm
hey, why do your …
hey, why do your parents live in LA but you live in the Phil?
Your travel videos are always great. I only take aisle seats so i hardly get any opportunities to record my descent from the air.
